An annual health check is one of the most cost-effective investments you can make in your long-term health. Many serious conditions — diabetes, hypertension, certain cancers — have no symptoms in their early stages, but are highly treatable when caught early.
What's Typically Included
A standard adult health check includes a physical examination, blood pressure, BMI, blood tests (sugar, lipids, kidney and liver function), urinalysis and an ECG. Age-appropriate cancer screening (mammography, Pap smear, prostate check, colon screening) may be added.
How to Prepare
- Fast for 10–12 hours before blood tests
- Bring your previous medical records
- Wear comfortable clothing
- List your current medications and family history
